About Us

HUDSYs mission is to unite and empower the Hudson Valley through impactful storytelling - promoting diversity, fostering understanding, and driving positive change.

We achieve our mission through our 3 core initiatives:

Initiative 1 - We CREATE films that tell impactful stories
-By creating HUDSY Original Films, we amplify the voices of our community, shedding light on diverse and impactful stories that often go untold, both locally and globally.
-By supporting individuals and organizations in creating films about their communities through our ''partnership production'' service, offering our unique HUDSY perspective on how to tell their story.

Initiative 2: We EDUCATE others to make films that tell impactful stories
-Through our 6-month paid Apprentice Program that equips Hudson Valley residents with the skills to become independent filmmakers and inspires them to become community storytellers.
-Through our Launchpad Film Program, organizations can engage HUDSY to conduct workshops and programs for their staff, empowering them to tell their own stories.

Initiative 3: We SHARE diverse films and creative stories that bring people together
-On our free video streaming platform, HUDSY TV, celebrating a diverse range of work from creatives across the region
At local events and networking opportunities that bring our community together through the power of film, storytelling, and creativity
