The New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) is offering a 12-week, full-time, paid Summer Internship Program in Highland, NY designed for motivated individuals interested in exploring careers in public transportation and infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in creating and maintaining GIS maps and spatial datasets related to bridges, roadways, and facilities
  • Support development of data visualizations and dashboards to communicate key insights
  • Help analyze traffic, safety, and operational data to identify trends and support decision-making
  • Collaborate with departments to translate data into clear, user-friendly visuals and reports
  • Assist with data collection, cleaning, and organization
  • Support special projects involving mapping, asset tracking, and infrastructure planning

Basic Requirements
  • Use of GIS and data visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
