News Release: Lynne Versace Appointed as New Development Director of Miles of Hope

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - The Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Lynne Versace as the new Development Director. Lynne comes to Miles of Hope from the local offices of the New York Senate where she was the Special Events Coordinator. Her experience also includes nine years as the Senior Community Development Director at the March of Dimes.

“Lynne’s leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand our programs and strengthen our partnerships. As a former Dutchess County legislator in the 14th District representing the towns of Poughkeepsie and Wappinger, Lynne has amassed a great deal of knowledge about our community which aligns perfectly with our mission and values,” explained Foundation Executive Director, Pari Forood.

“With an impressive track record in fundraising and community activism, Lynne brings a wealth of experience and passion to our team,” Ms. Forood said.

The Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation is a public charity with a mission to fund support services, education and outreach for people affected by breast cancer within the nine counties of the Hudson Valley, New York. Founded in 2004, Miles of Hope has given away over $4 million dollars to individuals and programs helping people with breast cancer pay their bills alleviating some of the financial and emotional burden of a breast cancer diagnosis.
