POUGHKEEPSIE, NY –– Arnoff Moving & Storage, a distinguished family-owned moving company, proudly announces its centennial celebration, commemorating an impressive 100 years of unwavering commitment to quality moving services.

Founded in 1924 by Abraham and his son Louis in Lakeville, Connecticut, Arnoff began its journey as a humble operation, utilizing a single truck to assist neighbors in delivering home furnishings. Over the decades, the organization has witnessed remarkable growth, evolving into a prominent player in the relocation industry.

The transformative journey continued with the vision of Louis' son, Richard, and his wife Phyllis, who expanded moving operations to Poughkeepsie, serving communities in New York's Hudson Valley. After their sons, Mike and Mark took over, the Arnoff name became known in the Capital Region and Florida. In more recent years, the fifth generation of the family has taken on the leadership’s roles, upholding the company's legacy, and nurturing innovative ideas for the future.

Since 1950, Arnoff Moving & Storage has proudly served as an agent for northAmerican Van Lines, fostering a robust partnership that has allowed the company to facilitate seamless moves for families worldwide.

Having begun providing relocation, trucking, and warehousing services to business in the 1960s, Arnoff has been diversified for much of its long history. In recent years, Arnoff took a significant step forward by introducing Arnoff Global Logistics, a specialized brand dedicated to Arnoff's commercial clientele. This expansion showcased the company’s adaptability and commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its diverse clientele, from startups to multi-national firms.

Throughout its storied history, Arnoff has weathered numerous challenges, operating through pandemics, economic and societal turmoil, and challenged geopolitical landscapes. The company’s resilience and dedication have earned it the trust and loyalty of generations of clients.
 
The Arnoff Family invites our communities to join us in upcoming celebrations. The first event will take place on May 1, 2024, at 10 Stonebreak Rd in Malta, New York, from 4pm to 6pm, with a ribbon cutting ceremony by region Chambers of Commerce kicking off the festivities. The second celebration will be held on May 7, 2024, at 1282 Dutchess Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, New York, also from 4pm to 6pm, along with a Chamber ribbon cutting.
