Volunteer Treasurer, Kingston based not for profit

Circle of Friends for the Dying (https://circlehome.org/) is looking for a volunteer Treasurer to provide financial oversight and ensure legal compliance for CFD and their Circle Home in Kingston.

We have an experienced part time bookkeeper on staff, this person will primarily work with the Finance Committee and Board to develop and monitor appropriate budgeting and ensure fiscal responsibility.

Ideally this person will have a professional financial background and experience of working with a not-for-profit. Expected time commitment would be 5-6 hours/month, which includes participation in the Finance Committee and Board meetings (in person or via zoom).
