You will make a big impact in a short time! We need someone who shows the ability to self manage and execute projects with prior instruction given. Executing these projects within the timeline allocated will prove success. You will be responsible for assisting the Innovation team with engineering-related, design-related and organizational tasks. An example of time spent in this role can look like 40% engineering projects, 20% design projects, and 40% supporting the Production team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collection maintenance, included but not limited to:
    • Builds/validates CAD models for various product collections
    • Maintain documentation and single source of truth through our different platforms to support data integrity. (Onshape, Netsuite, Postman, etc..)
  • Responsible for creation of support documentation, including but not limited to:
    • Creation of instruction manuals
    • Creation of packaging drawings
    • Creation of manufacturing work instructions
    • Create and maintain notion guides and standards
  • Responsible for creation of tech assets, 3D rendering and support tools
    • Creation of client facing assets
  • Creation of rep kits and other sales tools

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 3-5 years experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role 
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
  • Strong working knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) or engineering software
  • Product-focused creative thinking
  • In-depth knowledge of industry design principles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
