2026 Business Recognition Awards Nomination Form

Ulster County has a wealth of outstanding businesses, business leaders, and organizations. The Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce is seeking to recognize the best of these at the 2026 Ulster County Business Recognition Awards Celebration.

These Awards recognize Ulster County entrepreneurs and businesses that are leaders in their sectors, have achieved outstanding results, or have shown dedication and commitment to furthering business and the quality of life in Ulster County.

You have the opportunity to nominate a business, a businessperson, or an organization for these honors. For a nomination to be valid, the Nomination Form must be complete and submitted no later than 12 noon on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Entrepreneur or Business Person of the Year

This award recognizes an entrepreneur or business person who has achieved extraordinary accomplishments in business or shown dedication and commitment to furthering business in Ulster County.

Business of the Year

Any large business in Ulster County (25 or more employees) that is recognized as a leader in its field and has demonstrated a commitment to its employees, customers and clients and to furthering business in Ulster County.

Small Business of the Year

Any small business in Ulster County (less than 25 employees) that is recognized as a leader in its field and has demonstrated a commitment to its employees, customers and clients and to furthering business in Ulster County.

Tourism or Hospitality Business of the Year

Tourism and hospitality is one of the largest segments of business in the Ulster County economy. This award recognizes the excellence and dedication of a business in this industry.

Commitment to the Community (Not-for-Profit) Award

This award recognizes an outstanding not-for-profit organization that has improved the quality of life for the citizens of Ulster County.

The Heritage Award

This award is given to a long established, family-owned, multi-generational local business that has had a significant impact on the Ulster County region and has a history of community service.
