Ulster County SPCA Doggie Dash

The Ulster County SPCA is excited to host its first annual 5K Run/3K walk that you can participate in with your dog!! Please join us at the beautiful and scenic Williams Lake on September 15th at 11am for a great event with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the UCSPCA! The race will be followed by a fun celebration with dogs, vendors, food and music.

The Ulster County SPCA is a not for profit that has been operating in Ulster County since 1891. The organization’s staff and volunteers work tirelessly to provide temporary shelter for abused, neglected and homeless animals until they can be adopted to their forever homes, conduct animal cruelty investigations, help to shrink the county’s homeless animal population by providing low cost spay/neuter services, work to improve laws and end animal cruelty and humane education to area residents. The UCSPCA does not receive any funding from federal or state funding; the organization relies soley on donations and fund raising to sustain its operations.

The race is open to humans running or walking with or without dogs.

All proceeds from the race will benefit the Ulster County SPCA in their efforts to help, heal and adopt animals into loving homes.

Awards:

The Doggie Cup – The top Dog/Human team finishers for both the male and females runners will receive special awards.

Solo Runners – Awards to the Top male and female overall finishers.
