Chamber Breakfast Meeting Hudson Valley StartUp Fund
Johnny LeHane and Tony DiMarco of the Hudson Valley StartUp Fund, and Tim Dean, CEO of Marshall & Sterling, will be our guest speakers at October's Chamber Breakfast Meeting. Mr. LeHane will give a brief overview of HVSF, share the progress of the last two years and also opportunities for Chamber Members to be involved, followed by a Q&A session.
The HVSF offers management skills and early stage funding by providing seed funding, mentorship, and connections for local entrepreneurs. The Hudson Valley StartUp Fund serves as a catalyst to strengthen the path for entrepreneurs in our region and support a vibrant, thriving local economy.
The Ulster Chamber will also be recognizing the Kingston Stockade FC at our October Breakfast Meeting. In just its second year of operation, the Stockade FC won the Atlantic White Conference Championship. That match this past summer was played at Dietz Stadium in front of nearly 1,500 fans. The business community will be thanking the team?s owner, coaches and players for stimulating the local economy whenever a game was played in Kingston. The Kingston Stockade FC is a 501(c)3 non-profit chaired by Dennis Crowley of Marbletown, the founder of Foursquare.
Chamber Breakfast Meetings are a great way to network with other local business leaders and stay on top of current events.
