Huguenot Street Cider Market & Tasting
As part of Hudson Valley Cider Week, Historic Huguenot Street will host its second annual hard cider market and tasting on Saturday, June 11. This year’s market has been expanded to feature over a dozen New York State cideries, as well as including local wineries, food trucks, and live music. In addition to ciders, vendors will be selling other products from their orchards and farms as well, including fresh cut flowers, local apples, apple cider donuts, and more.
Cider Week helps build appreciation and demand for regional ciders and local orchards by celebrating the area’s vibrant craft cider culture. The market will take place on the Deyo House lawn across from the DuBois Fort (81 Huguenot Street) and will be open from 12 – 4 pm. Admission is $10 and grants access to unlimited tastings for the duration of the market. Guests tasting cider must be 21+ with ID. Designated drivers receive free admission. The first 25 people to arrive will receive a free tasting glass. Pre-registration is encouraged; those who register in advance at huguenotstreet.org/rsvp will be entered to win a 1677 Huguenot Wheat pint glass, the book "Cider, Hard & Sweet: History, Traditions, and Making Your Own" by Ben Watson, and two free tickets for a guided tour on Huguenot Street.
