HRMM: Wooden Tissue Box Build
Spend the day down by the Rondout Creek learning woodworking at the Hudson River Maritime Museum Wooden Boat School. During this introductory woodworking class, students will build their own wooden tissue boxes. Using mitered spline construction participants will build solid wood box sides then cut and shape the top and attach it with dado joinery. This simple and clean design will spruce up any tissue box.
This class is perfect for the beginner woodworker or even for someone with no woodworking experience at all. Instructor Wayne will walk you through every step of the process and teach you how to use all the tools involved. At the end of the day you will bring your box home to put to use.
Registration deadline is March 22, 2021. Learn more and register at www.hrmm.org/woodworking.
