Alzheimer's Association: Alzwell Social Club- For Early or Middle Stage People with dementia and their family caregivers
The Early/middle-Stage Social Engagement Program offers a fun and comfortable way for people living in the early stage of Alzheimer's or other dementia to get active and get connected with one another through a variety of social events and community-based activities determined by individual needs and interests of the participants and that promote social interaction and companionship.
In order to attend the Alzwell Program the person with dementia and caregiver must reside in either Westchester, Rockland, Dutchessor Putnam, Orange, Sullivan or Ulster County. AlzWell prescreening required. Call 800-272-3900 for a Care Consultation and prescreening appointment. For people with early-or middle-stage dementia and their family caregivers to, socialize and enjoy a variety of creative activities in a warm and understanding environment.
Dates are as follows: Jan. 6, 23 - Feb 13, 27, March 6, 20, April 10, 24 & May 8, 22, June 12, 26.
