About Us
Step One has served the Mid-Hudson region since 1994, and has expanded over time to a total of four sites throughout Ulster County. The mission of Step One is to empower each unique individual and their significant others, through client centered trauma informed care, in developing skills and options which support lifestyles that can be used as alternatives to active participation in behavioral difficulties and the chronic illness of Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders.
