About Us

Since 1932, the mission of the New York State Bridge Authority has been to maintain and operate the vehicle crossings of the Hudson River entrusted to its jurisdiction for the economic and social benefit of the people of the state. The Authority maintains its bridges to the highest engineering and safety standards at some of the lowest tolls in the nation. NYSBA operates the Rip Van Winkle, Kingston-Rhinecliff, Mid-Hudson, Newburgh-Beacon, and Bear Mountain Bridges. It also maintains the bridge structure for the Walkway Over the Hudson.
