Writers Read is a premier literary arts nonprofit that brings true, personal stories to life. Founded in 2014 by Ed McCann, the organization curates and produces captivating, live spoken-word performances of talented writers reading their original work. These stories reach a global audience via a popular podcast, an active YouTube channel, and published anthologies. Proud Hudson Valley partners include CPW, Vassar, Bard, Marist, and SUNY New Paltz, while NYC partners feature Carnegie Hall, Bryant Park, and the National Arts Club. These engaging performances emphasize our shared humanity.
