As we host the "Walk the Walk for Recovery\," Villa Veritas Foundation\, Inc. hopes to increase awareness and understanding of alcoholism and drug addiction. We walk to reduce the social stigma associated with substance abuse. The goal of Recovery Month is to spread and promote the message that "treatment works\, treatment is effective and people can and do recover."\n\n\n\nAs we celebrate this recovery process and transition from the shackles of addiction to the freedom of sobriety\, we ask you to help us. People and their families can return to a life of peace\, fun and productivity in sobriety. Help us by gathering family\, friends and agencies and join us in celebrating Recovery Month at the Villa Veritas Walk the Walk for recovery. "It is possible to live and enjoy life without alcohol and other drugs."\n\n\n\nAs a not-for-profit foundation we rely heavily on the support of the community we serve. Any proceeds raised from this event are vital for the continuation of Villa Veritas as a resource in providing substance abuse treatment. Addiction can have an effect on anyone\, any family\, at any time.
