Harp\, Esq. served Hudson Valley Hospice as a chairman of the board and as a director. He was the vice-chairman of Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation at the time of his death in January 2002. Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation works to raise community awareness and funding in support of Hudson Valley Hospice's mission to provide care\, comfort and compassion\, enhancing the quality of living for those at the end of life and supporting their loved ones.
