DESCRIPTION:At this month's Chamber Breakfast Meeting we will be "Celebrating Saugerties" at the Diamond Mills Hotel & Tavern in Saugerties. Guest Speakers will include Town Supervisor Fred Costello\, who will discuss the many reasons why Saugerties is a great place to live\, work and raise a family. He will also be introducing the owners of Winston Farm\, who will detail plans to transform the 800-acre property into a premier mixed-use destination venue for the Hudson Valley.\n\n\n\nThis project will preserve the rich history of the Winston Farm by retaining about 400 acres - half the property - for preservation\, which will include public parks\, wetlands\, and trails. The remaining land could accommodate a mix of uses that would create jobs and generate tax revenue\, including multi- and single-family housing\, shared water and sewer infrastructure\, an amphitheater\, boutique hotel resort\,  agrihood/technology park\, commercial and cabins\, and campgrounds. The project team is comprised of local Saugerties business leaders John Mullen\, Tony Montano\, and Randy Richers.\n\n\n\nChamber Breakfast Meetings are a great way to network with other local business leaders and stay on top of current events.
