DESCRIPTION:The Hudson Valley Marathon at the Walkway Over the Hudson will return for its second year on May 5\, 2024.  After a successful event in 2023\, the Hudson Valley Marathon is on track to be Alpha Win's leading running event.  The course offers an unparalleled view of the Hudson Valley region as runners make their way across the historic Walkway Over the Hudson.  \n\n\n\nThe race features 1 mile\, 5k\, 10k\, Half Marathon and Marathon distances\, making it the perfect event for any athlete.  The Hudson Valley Marathon is a Boston Qualifier\, and the Half Marathon and Marathon courses are USATF certified.  The Half Marathon course certification is NY23004DNB\, and the Marathon certification is NY23005DNB.\n\nThe Walkway Over the Hudson is the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world. Originally the Poughkeepsie-Highland Railroad Bridge\, it was rebuilt as the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park and re-opened in October of 2009. Since then\, the Walkway has provided a one-of-a-kind way to experience the Hudson Valley!
