DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, August 13\, 12 Noon to 3 pm\, as we celebrate the beginning of the 3rd Annual Goat Games hosted by Catskill Animal Sanctuary!\n\n\n\nFrom Friday\, August 12 to Monday\, August 15\, our supporters all across the country will hike\, bike\, kayak\, run\, swim\, and more to raise money for the care of our 200+ rescued farmed animals.\n\n\n\nWill you help us be The G.O.A.T. and bring home the gold?\n\n\n\nFESTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE:\n\n\n\nWatch the lighting of the Goat Games torch with Kathy Stevens\, founder of Catskill Animal Sanctuary\, and hear about how we can all be champions for animals in our everyday lives!\n\n\n\nEnjoy a Meet & Greet with our Team Captain\, Sully the Goat\, and his fellow goat athletes and coaches. Learn their stories and chat with our educators about how intelligent\, curious\, energetic\, and adventurous goats are!\n\n\n\nMeet Chef Linda\, Director of our vegan culinary program\, and try delicious\, free food samples of her cranberry walnut energy bars and zucchini-carrot-oat bread bites. They're perfect for carbo-loading in preparation for The Games!\n\n\n\nCome hungry and chow down on delicious vegan food from Freakin' Vegan. Their decadent empanadas\, sliders and mac & cheese are incredible!\n\n\n\nParticipate in a special grooming session with our rescued goats\n\n\n\nShop exclusive sanctuary merchandise\n\n\n\nStroll the sanctuary grounds and meet some of our inspiring and memorable animal friends   educators and staff will be on hand to make introductions\n\n\n\nListen to Dave Powers's eclectic\, unforgettable renditions of iconic\, classic hits of the 70's through today
