DESCRIPTION:The Ashokan Center's 2nd annual Holiday Craft Faire from 10 am   2 pm on Sunday\, December 10\, 2023\, free admission\; there will be a mix of free and paid activities.\n\n\n\nCelebrate the spirit of giving with us. Make your own traditional gifts\, shop locally in our holiday market\, and enjoy holiday fare\, all to seasonal songs sung by local school choruses.\n\n\n\nFREE ENTRY Browse our holiday market's locally made furniture\, jewelry and more. Visit the DIY craft tables for free all-ages crafts felted soaps\, pinecone bird feeders and more. Enjoy uplifting music from local youth. Hot savory food and drink will be for sale in the dining hall.\n\n\n\nBY DONATION Get a fun photo with family and friends in our restored antique sleigh. Wreath-making with Molly Mason this was very popular last year!\n\n\n\nFOR A LOW FEE CREATE HAND-MADE WORKSHOP CRAFTS\n\n	Holiday ornaments in our tin shop: Choose a traditional pattern Ashokan Educators will help you make your own ornament\; ages 8+\, $10 per project.\n	Forge your own art in our blacksmith shop: Apply traditional techniques to make a trivet\, poker or plant hanger with Ashokan Educators\; ages 8+\, $20 per project.\n	Broom-making in our broom shop: Craft an extraordinarily effective sweeper\, altarpiece or beautiful art item for the wall\; ages 12+\, $55 per project.\n	December 1 at 9 a.m. advance registration begins for these paid activities.\n\nAshokan craft and food sales benefit the Ashokan Center. Support our winter clothing drive! Many school children come to our field trips underprepared. We're hoping to collect coats\, hats\, boots\, gloves for them.\n\n\n\nThanks for helping!
